At the Foot of the Mountain

Like Gideon, I wanted to be sure of the mission God was giving me. I'm writing this blog after a few years of meditating on these ideas. As I do not want to be a stumbling block, I politely asked God to remove me from this planet if these ideas were not what I was supposed to be promoting. There were already some potentially troubling health signs, environmental hazards, etc. that could have taken me out along the way before I even began my renewed fervor for Bible study. After last week's posts, the fulfillment of my life's work became even more palpable. Nevertheless, I took a few days off for one last check. Not only have I not died, but I got healthier. I even experienced a miraculous water crossing that we can chat about in Heaven eventually.

Therefore, I have been encouraged to finish the race. The next few posts will include content from a book I wrote a few years ago.

Belief in Jesus is essential. The Old Covenant had God on one side and humans on the other, and the humans were doomed to fail. The New Covenant is based on the strength of a promise God made to God. We who are safely in His hand can't mess it up. Jesus prayed that those who believe in Him would be united with Him in John 17:20-26, and Ephesians 2:6 says that He got what He asked for. Our sins demand death, but we have already died with Christ (Galatians 2:20); we enjoy His eternal life in union with Him (Colossians 3:4, 1 Corinthians 6:17).
